Yesterday, we celebrated the topping out of Water Lane, our build-to-rent scheme in Leeds, delivered in partnership with Heim Global Investor.

We joined guests from Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the team at HG Construction to mark this major delivery milestone.

Located in the heart of the city’s South Bank, our build-to-rent development will deliver 375 homes across two connected buildings.

Designed by Carey Jones Chapman Tolcher (CJCT), Water Lane will transform a vacant, former car park site into a vibrant, residential led neighbourhood, comprising a mix of apartments.

Anchored in high-quality public realm, landscaping and a mix of communal and amenity spaces, Water Lane will feature residents’ lounges, shared workspaces, a gym, and events areas, with roof gardens on the 1st, 9th, and 14th floors.

At ground level there will be gardens with a rich biodiverse mix of plants to achieve net ecological benefits, while within the building a vibrant concierge area will provide a welcoming space to sit, relax and meet, which also connects to the residents’ gym and yoga studio.

The first-floor flexible amenity space connects directly to extensively landscaped communal space, along with co-working space & the residents dining area, creating an integral part of residents’ experience and communal life.

Water Lane is expected to complete in early 2027.
