Mark Tunstall joins McLaren Property as Construction Director
Mark Tunstall joins McLaren Property as Construction Director, a new role responsible for both McLaren Property and McLaren Living projects in the South of England, including developments in Watford, Reading, Brighton, Bournemouth and Exeter.
Mark Tunstall joins McLaren Property as Construction Director, a new role responsible for both McLaren Property and McLaren Living projects in the South of England, including developments in Watford, Reading, Brighton, Bournemouth and Exeter.
Mark joins from Wates where he was Operations Director, a role he’s held since 2019. Mark has over 30 years construction management experience and during his career he has worked for main contractors and as client side on a broad cross section of projects.
Prior to Wates Mark was a Director at Qubed and also held positions at Mace, Costain Construction and Multiplex Constructions (UK), while gaining earlier experience at Taylor Woodrow and Al Futtaim Wimpey, Dubai, U.A.E.

McLaren Property and McLaren Living developments in the south include the redevelopment of Broad Street Mall in Reading in partnership with AEW, delivering approximately 600 Build-to-Rent homes, a mixed-use redevelopment of Watford Police Station and Magistrates Court, comprising c.300 Build-to Rent homes and approximately 30,000 sq ft of commercial space. A 164 bed co-living scheme in Exeter, a 156-bed purpose-built student accommodation scheme in Brighton and a 170-bed purpose-built student accommodation development in Bournemouth.
